The reopening of several NBA arenas to fans has started. These NBA venues are renowned for holding some of the biggest non-sporting events in the world in addition to basketball. More than only the NBA’s elite teams are housed at these arenas. Some are recognized as monuments because of their historical significance and importance to the cities in which they are located.
MODA CENTER (PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS)
The main indoor sports facility in Portland, Oregon, is the Moda Center, formerly known as the Rose Garden. It is used in many events including basketball, ice hockey, rodeos, circuses, conferences, ice shows, concerts, and theatrical productions. The basketball-specific facility can accommodate 19,393 spectators.
AT&T CENTER (SAN ANTONIO SPURS)
On the east side of San Antonio, Texas, there is a multi-use indoor arena called the AT&T Center. San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association call it home.
18 418 basketball players can fit in the arena, and 19,000 people can attend concerts or other activities.
CHESAPEAKE ENERGY ARENA (OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER)
The United States city of Oklahoma City is home to the Paycom Center, a sports complex. The Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association have called it home since 2008 after it made its debut there in 2002. The 581,000-square-foot stadium has 3,380 club seats, seven party suites, and 49 private suites. It can accommodate 19,711 spectators on three levels, with a fourth level added for concerts.
SCOTIABANK ARENA (TORONTO RAPTORS)
The multipurpose Scotiabank Arena, formerly the Air Canada Centre, is situated on Bay Street in the heart of Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association and the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League both call it home.
The arena has a floor area of 61,780.5 meters. Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (MLSE), which also owns the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and each of its separate development teams, is the company that owns and operates it.
AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER (DALLAS MAVERICKS)
The Victory Park neighborhood in downtown Dallas, Texas, is home to the American Airlines Center, a multipurpose arena. The arena is home to both the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association.
AMERICAN AIRLINES ARENA (MIAMI HEAT)
The Miami Heat have called the American Airlines Arena in Miami their home since 2000. This arena doesn’t have much of a past, although it did host the NBA Finals in 2012, 2013, and 2014, with the Heat winning in all of those years. The 20,000-seat basketball stadium is situated close to the beautiful Miami Beach.
UNITED CENTER (CHICAGO BULLS)
The United Center is one of the most well-liked NBA venues today because to the success of the Chicago Bulls during Michael Jordan’s playing days. In addition to hosting the NBA Finals in 1996, 1997, and 1998, the United Center became the Bulls’ home in 1994. The 96,000 square foot facility, referred to as the NBA’s largest arena by capacity, can hold about 23,000 spectators.
BARCLAYS CENTER (BROOKLYN NETS)
